This page explains what data KeyDigital collects, why it is collected and how it is used.
1.Data we collect
When you place an order: your name and, if you provide them, your email address and phone number. This information lets us link the order to the WhatsApp conversation.
If you create an account: your name, email address, optionally your phone number, and an encrypted hash of your password. The password itself is never stored in plain text.
We also keep your order history and its status.
2.What we do not collect
No bank data is collected: payment is arranged directly with the seller, outside the site.
The site does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers for profiling purposes.
3.Audience measurement
To know which pages are viewed and how visitors find us, the site measures its own traffic, without third-party tools or cookies.
For every page view we record the page address, the device type (mobile, computer or tablet), the visit's origin reduced to the source site name (e.g. « google.com ») and, where applicable, the campaign name in the link. Search terms used in the catalog are also counted, to know which products are missing.
We do not record your IP address, the full address of the source page, or the URL parameters. A random identifier, unrelated to your identity, is kept in your browser's local storage to distinguish new visitors from returning ones; you can delete it at any time by clearing the site data.
If you place an order, your visit's origin is attached to the order to know which channels bring us customers.
If your browser sends the « Do Not Track » or « Global Privacy Control » signal, no measurement is performed. Traffic data is automatically deleted after 13 months.
4.Use of data
Your data is used to process your orders, contact you about them, keep your purchase history up to date and improve the catalog.
It is never sold or rented to third parties.
5.WhatsApp
The conversation takes place on WhatsApp, a service operated by Meta. The messages you exchange there are governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy, which is independent of ours.
Only a pre-filled link is generated from our site: no message is sent without your knowledge.
6.Storage and security
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by our hosting provider.
Admin access is protected by authentication and role-based controls, and communications with the site are encrypted over HTTPS.
7.Storage in your browser
When you log in, a session token is kept in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. It is removed when you log out.
Local storage also holds the anonymous audience-measurement identifier and the current visit's origin, described above.
8.Retention period
Orders are kept for tracking and accounting purposes. Account data is kept as long as the account exists. Audience-measurement data is kept for 13 months.
9.Your rights
You can request access to your data, its rectification or its deletion by writing to us on WhatsApp or by email.
You can edit your profile information at any time from the « My account » page.
